Hi! I’m Tricia, your fine art documentary wedding photographer based in Southern Vermont. As much as you’re dreaming about your wedding, I’m dreaming up all the unique ideas to give you for your wedding! I have an intense background in theatre, which means I’ve been immersed in the multi-dimensional world of storytelling for over 20 years. Photography and wedding planning are the perfect complements to the art, crafts, music making and creativity that are crucial components to expressive storytelling. I pull from this deep well of complementary experience to inspire your unique and authentic wedding celebration.
When I’m not photographing your wedding, you’ll find me on stage singing my heart out in operas and musicals, and behind the scenes designing graphics and set pieces. At home, you’ll find me running wild with my two magical daughters and amazing dog Lucy, growing gorgeous flowers in the garden, and working with all kinds of botanicals to make some wild, witchy earth-inspired art. 90s alternative rock might be blaring when I need to destress or VPR Classical for music that makes me feel completely at home with myself. At night, I curl up with a good book and get in as much reading as I can before I fall asleep with the book flat on my face. Life is a wild ride!

After photographing weddings for nearly a decade, I have guided and photographed a wide spectrum of celebrations. Most of my couples have been together for awhile and are deeply comfortable with each other, but are not particularly comfortable with the idea of being the center of attention or planning an event that meets every last need of every last guest.
I have seen stress and exhaustion in the early planning stages, and have helped alleviate these feelings of overwhelm by guiding my couples back to themselves.
What is most important to you? Is it the setting, sentimental touches, the words you write in your vow books, the beauty you are surrounded by, your people?
How do you want to feel on your wedding day? Smitten with romance, calm and relaxed, adventurous, raucous?

When you think of romance, what do you imagine? Don’t try to refine it - just let it be! Is your inspiration from a book, a movie, poetry, music, nature?
How do you want to be loved on your wedding day?
Most of my couples opt to make each other the most important part of the day. This is the perfect solution to the intense pressures of planning a wedding that suits everyone else. They choose a gorgeous place in nature to immerse themselves in and declare their love. The late day sun surrounds them in gold, grasses and wild flowers sway gently in the breeze, and they take time to breathe deeply and be present. Every moment is captured. Afterwards, I guide them through poses that inspire their gorgeous affection and love. Sometimes they dance, sometimes they run, sometimes they lie in the grasses, sometimes they just hold one another. The night continues with a delicious meal surrounded by their favorite people and animals, and ends with laughter, storytelling, and dancing under the starlight by the fire pit. Everyone is relaxed, everyone is joyful, everyone feels fulfilled by this experience. It’s simply beautiful.

We will chat before your wedding and choose the aesthetic of your album so that afterwards, I can custom curate, design and print your wedding album to be on your doorstep within 3 months of your wedding day.
